As the chief expert, three demonstration and extension bases of agricultural science and technology in Yangling agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration area were established in poverty-stricken counties of Qinba Mountain Area, which were Shanyang County, Shaanxi Province, the demonstration and extension base of improved pig breeding, the demonstration base of pig breeding and poverty alleviation in Luanchuan County, Henan Province, and the demonstration and extension base of black pig breeding and processing in Beichuan County, Sichuan Province.

'The development of caged chickens and the expression of ACHE and GAP-43 in the brain' won the second prize for science and technology achievements in Shaanxi Province from 2001 to 2002. 'Cage chicken development and ACHE, GAP-43 expression in the brain and autonomic nerve research in pigs and sheep' won the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Yangling Demonstration Zone in 2000. As the main participants to participate in the 'good breed pig breeding technology promotion demonstration' won the 2012 Xianyang City Science and Technology Third Prize.

The project "Research and Practice on the Reform of Curriculum System and Teaching Contents of Undergraduate Animal Medicine" was awarded the second prize of higher education teaching achievements in Shaanxi Province in 2005 and the first prize of teaching achievements in NWAFU in 2005.
